Harold Eugene Gilreath, age 79, of Jackson, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin, Georgia.  Harold was born on Friday, January 28, 1938 in Hendersonville, North Carolina to the late William Gilreath and the late  Nellie Mae Lollis Gilreath. He was of Presbyterian Faith.  Harold was a proud member of the United States National Guard for 6 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and cooking.  Harold spent a lot of time with his buddies and working on lawnmowers.  He enjoyed sitting on the front porch and riding in his golf cart.

 

Harold is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol Gilreath; children, Anthony D. Hardon (Bonnie), Tammy Redman, Mikki Bradley; grandchildren, Beth, Nicole, Kristin, Marilyn, and Casey; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service for Mr. Harold Gilreath will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Lee Parrish and Reverend Lamar Cole officiating.
