Obituary of Ruth Tante

Mrs. Ruth Biles Tante, age 87, of Biles Road, Jackson, GA, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Westbury Nursing Home in Jackson, GA. Ruth was best known for her work as a beautician, as owner of Dee’s Beauty Salon, and for her love of working in the yard with her beautiful plants and flowers.
Mrs. Tante was born June 30, 1929 in Jackson, GA to the late C.B. Biles and the late Mary Lou Stewart Biles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Tante; brothers; Stewart, James, Maurice, Ernest, Jimmy, and David Biles; and sisters, Doris Biles Speed and Virginia Biles Pulliam.
Mrs. Tante is survived by her sister, Faye Biles Crane; sisters-in-law, Juanita Grubbs Biles, Pat Bennet Biles, Pat Thompson Biles, and Floree Callaway Biles; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2:00 to 4:00 at the home of her sister, Faye Biles Crane, 221 C.B. Drive, Jackson, GA. All family and friends are invited to share in remembrance of Ruth’s life.
