Life Legacy Mr. Gregory Stuart “Greg” Cook, age 54, of Griffin, GA, formerly of Jackson, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. Greg was born on Wednesday, July 25, 1962 in Évreux, France to Jackie Lee Cook and the late Johnnie Dykes Cook. He served in the Georgia National Guard. Greg was formerly a fork lift driver for Snapper. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Ann Cook, and step-mother, Patricia Cook. Greg is survived by his wife, Chasity Wingfield Cook; daughter, Jennifer Cook; step-daughters, Jasmine Erickson and Destiny Erickson; father, Jack Cook; brothers, Mark Cook and wife, Linda, John Cook and wife, Cindy; step-sister, LaRae Martin; step-brothers, Chris Martin and Scott Martin; nephews, Will Cook and Rhett Cook; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services for Mr. Greg Cook will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Joey Seabolt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday evening.
