Mr. Allan Keith Buckland, age 71, of Jackson, GA, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 after a prolonged illness. He was born on Wednesday, September 26, 1945 in Cleveland, OH to Paul S. Buckland, Sr. and Elizabeth Priscilla Herrington Buckland. Allan proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and is a Vietnam War Veteran. He dearly loved his family. Allan is survived by his two daughters, Mara Rae Pace and Ruth Margaret Kleiber, husband Dwayne; his grandsons Dylan and Josh Brenkus; brothers, Phillip Buckland and wife, Anita Buckland; Daryl Buckland and wife Cathy Buckland; many nephews and nieces; and he continued a relationship with his step-daughters, Carla Satterfield, Collen Head, and their children. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Ben Kleiber; parents, Paul and Priscilla Buckland, and his oldest brother, Paul S. Buckland, Jr. A funeral service for Mr. Allan Buckland will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating and Dr. Jack Landham speaking. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
