Mr. Charles Henry Woodruff, Sr., age 50, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Piedmont Henry Hospital. Charles was born on Tuesday, March 28, 1967 in Atlanta, GA. He was a truck driver for Swift Pinestraw. Charles was a member of Mr. Vernon Baptist Church. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and driving around in his truck “Sarge”. Charles enjoyed the outdoors, flea markets, and attending dirt track racing. He dearly loved his grandbabies. Charles is survived by his wife, Tina Smith Woodruff; children, Charles Henry Woodruff, Jr., Trecy Harris and her husband, Demarcus, Charlotte Ann Woodruff; grandchildren, McKinzie, Brandon, and Marcus; mother, Charlene A. Coleman; father and step-mother, John and Judy Woodruff; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Patricia Woodruff, Leon and Kelly Woodruff, John Floyd Woodruff; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services for Charles Woodruff, Sr. will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Saffels, Minister Robin Woodruff, and Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
