Mrs. Bertha Rosa Jeffries Cleveland, age 91, of Jackson, GA, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born June 1, 1919 in Jackson to the late Cordy Jeffries and Mary Edwards Jeffries. Mrs. Cleveland is survived by six daughters, Carol Anderson, of Gray, GA, Sarah English, Margaret Greenwood and Bonnie Cook, all of Jackson, Dorothy Cronan and Martha Miller, of Monticello; one son, Tommy Cleveland, of McDonough; sister, Ollie Mae Kitchens, of Jackson; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Cleveland, son, Jerrell Cleveland, and grandson, Dale Anderson. Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Cleveland will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Rev. John Sherrell and Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 9:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2011.
