Obituary of Winona Grace Lambert

Mrs. Winona Grace Roberts Lambert, age 78, of Jackson, GA passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough.  She was born  in 1939 in Unaka, North Carolina to the late Blake Roberts and the late Josephine Smith Roberts. Winona was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Clinton Lambert, six brothers and a sister. Winona loved gardening and farming. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking and was a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians

Winona is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Richard Wodarski; son and daughter-in-law, John and Cheryl McClure; grandchildren, Lori and Clay Nix, Jason and Tabitha Cail, and Sara Wodarski; four great-grandchildren, Cail, Ethan, Josie and Eli as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Winona Lambert will be held at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfuneralhome.com.
