Obituary of Yvonne Lunsford
Mrs. Yvonne Chaddrick Lunsford, age 82, of Forsyth, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin. She was born on Thursday, August 8, 1935 in Turkey Creek, Louisiana to the late Frank Robert Chaddrick and the late Ida Lemons Chaddrick. Yvonne was of Baptist faith. She was an excellent seamstress and gardener. Yvonne worked for KYM Co. for 30 years as a seamstress. She loved hummingbirds and was an avid word searcher. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Lunsford; brothers, Earbie Chaddrick and Wilford Chaddrick; sisters, Epsie Lee Barfield and Elva Mae Nelson.
Yvonne is survived by her children and their spouses, Lavenia and Craig Parr, Steve and Rena Lunsford, Michelle and Joe Goen; grandchildren, Nick and Laura Parr, Erica Parr, Hunter and Savannah Parr, Destiny, Hunter, Amanda and William Lunsford, and Dustin Brooks; great-grandchildren, Frederick Parr, Violet Parr; sisters, Lucille and Lloyd Clark, Jean and Herman Hogan; brothers, Munion and Maggie Chaddrick, Herman and Arlene Chaddrick, Clen and Janelle Chaddrick, Charlie and Evelyn Chaddrick, Hoyt Chaddrick; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Nancy and Jack Rupe.
A funeral service for Mrs. Yvonne Lunsford will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Eternal Hope Hospice, 123 N 18th St, Griffin, GA 30223, in memory of Mrs. Yvonne Lunsford.
