Obituary of Dorothy Claire Redman

Mrs. Dorothy Claire Bryant Redman, age 78, of Forest Park, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Southern Regional Medical Center.  She was born on Sunday, March 26, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Jesse Dawson Bryant and the late Dorothy Ivey Wynn Bryant.  Claire enjoyed gardening.  She loved her family and was an unforgettable grandmother.

 

Claire is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lee Redman; children, Ric Redman, Elizabeth and Terry Furrh, Mike Redman, David and Tracy Redman;  9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Amelia Pilcher; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Ann Bryant, Phil and Barbara Bryant; several nieces and nephews.

 

A funeral service for Mrs. Claire Redman will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow in Jackson City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to The Grove Food Bank, 1967 Highway 16 East, Jackson, GA 30233 in memory of Claire.
