Obituary of Brian Ellis Cooper
Brian Ellis Cooper, age 60, of Flovilla, GA, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, GA. Brian was born on Tuesday, July 9, 1957 in Muskegon, MI. He was retired from Delta Airlines and had served as a Corporal with the City of Jackson Police Department. Brian took pleasure in carpentry work and photography. He enjoyed University of Georgia sports, Georgia Tech, and the Braves.
Brian is survived by his wife of 11 years, Amanda Cooper; children, Hillary Brown, Tyler Cooper, and Ellie Cooper; step-son, Stephan Tapley; father, Clare Cooper; mother, Connie Brown; brothers, Gary Brown; Matt Brown; sister, Lisa Brown Chapek.
Funeral services for Mr. Brian Cooper will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, 1577 NE Expressway, Suite A, Atlanta, GA 30329.
