Obituary of Patsy Anne Power
Mrs. Patsy Anne McIntyre Power, age 74, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Westbury Medical Care Home in Jackson, Georgia. Patsy was born on Wednesday, June 16, 1943 in Royston, Franklin County, Georgia to the late Willie McIntyre and the late Sallie Merle Phillips McIntyre. She loved to read and solve word search puzzles and go shopping and spending time with her family. Patsy loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ed Power; children, Charles Lesley Power (Barbara), Theresa Ann Patrick, Tina Kaye Loftin (Jeff), Edward “Bobo” Power (Makisha), Lisa Darlene Mitchell, Melinda Diane Pritchett (Kurt); 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Atkinson (Doug); brother, Jerry McIntyre (Bobbie Jo); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Power will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Rock Springs Church with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfuneralhome.com.
