Obituary of Frank "Mac" Cronin
Frank Edward Cronin, (AKA “Mac”), 65 of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018. He was born on May 17, 1953 to the late Frank Edward Cronin II and the late Velma Jean Ball Cronin in Chicago, IL and later moved to Florida in 1970. Mac earned his nickname “MacGyver” because of his ability to fix anything and help anyone through his wide knowledge of many trades.
Mac is survived by his loving wife, Machelle Dawson Cronin; son, Frank Carl (Tracy) Cronin; step-daughter, Danya Hannah Danielle Trimble; step-son Kevin Mitchell Trimble; grandchildren, Veronica Jennifer Cronin, Tyler Edward Kennedy Cronin, Lauren Nicole Kennedy Cronin; sister Linda Lee (Chris) Thompson. He was preceded in death by sister, Ellen Lee Cronin.
A memorial service for Frank “Mac” Cronin will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Rock Springs Church. Friends may visit the family at Rock Springs Church one hour prior to the service. He was well known and loved in the Griffin/Jackson area for the past 20 years and he will be greatly missed.
