Mrs. Harriet Smith Head, age 94, of Jackson, GA passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Jackson. She was born Friday, January 25, 1924, in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late Tom Henry Smith and the late Sarah Smith. Harriet was an affiliate member of Stark United Methodist Church and a member of Atlanta First United Methodist Church. She loved to sew and make crafts.

 

Harriet is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jack H. Head; children, Sally and John Bird, Jennifer O’Leary, Angela and Mac Cardwell; sister-in-law, Betty Moats; several nieces and nephews.

 

A funeral service for Mrs. Harriet Smith Head will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Stark United Methodist Church with Reverend Stephen Soulen officiating. Interment will follow in the Stark United Methodist Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the church one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested to make donations to the charity of your choice.
