Obituary of Gladys Pearl Vaughn

Mrs. Gladys Pearl Pope Vaughn, age 92, of Jackson, GA, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born on Sunday, November 28, 1926 in Jackson, to the late Marvin W. Pope and the late Ruby Lou Nobles Pope. She loved puzzles, playing online games, and shopping. She was preceded in death by husband, Tom Watson Vaughn; daughter, Marie Kersey Pickett; and son-in-law, Larry Pickett.  Gladys retired from the KYM Company.

Gladys is survived by her granddaughter, Lisa Pickett.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Vaughn will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mary Ruth Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Saturday morning.
