Bill, I hope you knew how many people loved and cared about you. Under that US Navy shell was the most genuinely kind hearted soul I have ever met. You were one of my favorite people because you always spoke the truth and was kind to anyone who needed a friend.
Heavenly Father, I ask that You gather into Your arms Bill’s family and draw them close for comfort and peace. Please provide them comfort over the next few weeks and months. Your grace is sufficient for any eventuality. Please Lord, help his family feel Your presence in the stillness. Comfort their grief and ease their pain. Heal the broken hearts and loneliness.
To you be all the Praise and Glory. Amen.

Bill, I love you, always have. You taught me a lot in my younger years. You never judged me. You are the PawPaw to my kids. Please hug my boys up there, for they have waited for you. "Red sky at night sailor's delight, Red sky in the morn sailor's bewarn". I salute you Sailor, job well done!
