Mrs. Deborah Jane Rodgers Collins, age 63, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. She was born on Wednesday, October 10, 1956, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late John Willis Rodgers and the late Daisy Lucille Henderson Rodgers. Deborah was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she was the pianist and was involved with the Women’s Ministry. She traveled with the Faith Walkers. Deborah loved to cook, sing, and travel. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Charles Collins; children, Kathy & James Smith, James Clay Davis Jr., and Michael & Heather Davis; grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Chevy, J.J, Christian, Billy, Lucas, Grace, Corey, and Aubrea; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Bella, Bryant, Beau, and Aspyn; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley & Judy Rodgers; and nephew, Christopher Brian Rodgers.
A funeral service for Mrs. Deborah Collins will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Liberty Baptist Church, 3043 High Falls Rd. Jackson, GA 30233 with Reverend Dr. Lamar Cole officiating. Interment will follow at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the church Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfuneralhome.com
