Obituary of Nina Irene Washington

Mrs. Nina Irene Chamlee Washington, age 99 of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020. Nina was born on Wednesday, July 13, 1921 in Sand Mountain, Alabama to the late George Chamlee and the late Beulah Fox Chamlee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Washington; grandson, Kent Lawson; several brothers and sisters. Nina was a faithful member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Nina is survived by her children and their spouses, Aubrey and Charlotte Washington, Lamar Washington, Fay and John Cross; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Rosalee Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Nina Washington will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Mike Saffels officiating.
