Master Sawyer Gage McKinzie, age 10 months of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
Sawyer was born on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Griffin, Georgia to the late Christopher Gage McKinzie and Kristy Marie Walker. He is also preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Billy Duffey.
In addition to his mother, Sawyer is survived by grandparents, Arlene and David Walker, Teresa and John Bueter; aunts, Kristin Walker (Trevor Patrick), Brandy Foster (Brian), Glenda Martin (David); great-grandmother, Margie Duffey; great-aunt, Stephanie Wilson (Billy); several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service for Sawyer Gage McKinzie, along with his father, Christopher will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 225 Rocky Creek Rd. in Forsyth, with Rev. Nelson Grist officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the memorial fund for Sawyer and Christopher. Donations may be made through a Go Fund Me campaign at https://gf.me/u/y83x6g or United Bank, McKinzie Family Memorial Fund.
