Obituary of Brandon Scott Bender, Sr.

Mr. Brandon Scott Bender, Sr., age 39, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025.

Brandon was born on Thursday, May 30, 1985, in Richmond, Virginia to Edward Schultz and Donna Bender. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Warrington; grandparents, Leonard and Hester Toney, Bobby and Elouise Bender; brother, Alexander Schultz. Brandon served as Master Sergeant in the United States Army with over 22 years active duty. He was a gun collector, mechanic, and loved riding motorcycles. Brandon enjoyed camping, nature walks, and entertaining people with gatherings and cookouts. He loved to teach and support those around him. Brandon was always the life of the party and to him, everyone was family.

Brandon is survived by his wife, Katrina Bender; children, Breanna, Brooke, and Scott; mother, Donna Bender; father, Edward Schultz; Stepfather, Ronald Bender; brothers and sister-in-law, Joshua and Anna Bender, Zachary Bender, John Nardacci; sisters, Sarah Bender, Jillian Schultz; grandfather, Robert Schultz; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mr. Brandon Bender will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Rock Springs Church with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Friends may visit the family on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Rock Springs Church.
