Obituary of Faye Crane

Beverly Faye Biles Crane, age 82, was born February 17, 1943, in Jackson, Georgia, to the late CB and Mary Lou Biles in Jackson Ga.

Faye passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Toby” Crane; son, Marcus Scott Crane; brothers, Stewart, James, Maurice, Ernest, Jimmy and David Biles; sisters, Doris Speed, Ruth Tante, and Virginia Pulliam.  Faye is survived by her daughter, April Crane Freeman; sisters-in-law, Juanita Grubbs Biles and Pat Thompson Biles; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Faye drove a bus for the Butts County School system for 40 years. She was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog fan. Faye enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews play sports and dance recitals.  She loved working in the yard with her flowers, baking and sewing.

Services will be held at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home on Thursday April 3^, 2025, at 3:00 P.M.  Visitation will take place from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Everyone is asked to wear their Sports Jerseys or T-shirts of your choice to the service

Afterwards friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life at Crane’s Cabana at 221 CB Drive, Jackson, Georgia.
