


Obituary of Carolyn Yancy
Mrs. Carolyn Bradley Yancy age 86, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025.
Carolyn was born on Tuesday, November 15, 1938, in Franklin, North Carolina to the late William Lyle Bradley and the late Annie Mae Morgan. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Yancy; brothers, Jeff Morgan, Don Bradley, and Bill Bradley. Carolyn was a member of Worthville Baptist Church. She loved to read her Bible and take care of her critters.
Carolyn is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law; William and Melissa Yancy, Raymond and Rhonda Yancy; grandchildren and spouses, Daniel Yancy and Kelsey Hart, Jessica and Lance Bass, Joey Yancy and Kirsten Reeves, Courtney and Bryant Bernhardt, McKenzie Yancy, Angie Wilson, Jennifer and Michael Jefferies; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Mitchell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Diane Morgan, Wayne and Jewel Morgan, several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
A funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn Yancy will be Friday, June 20, 2025, at 12:00 P.M., in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Wayne Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Stodghill Family Cemetery. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home.
