Obituary of Connie Riffel
Mrs. Constance Ruth Clark Riffel, age 65, of Hampton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Connie was born on Sunday, December 6, 1959, in Salina, Kansas to the late Robert and Lola Ruth Clark. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church where she also played the piano. Connie was also a former piano player for Liberty Baptist Church in Stockbridge. She loved music and taught piano and violin. Some things Connie enjoyed were flowers and gardening, decorating the house, and bird watching. She will be deeply missed.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Terry Riffel; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Jessica Hayes; stepchildren and spouses, Leigh and Angela Riffel, David and Sarai Riffel, Stephen and Charity Riffel, Matthew and Stephanie Riffel, Michael and April Riffel; 26 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Faith Clark; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mrs. Connie Riffel will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, with Pastor Matt Price officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request those that desire make a memorial contribution to the family c/o Lighthouse Baptist Church, www.lbcjackson.org, 104 Dub Walker Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233. The family will donate to a charity of their choice.
