Obituary of Rodney Dean Crank Sr.

Rodney Dean Crank Sr., age 69, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on July 25, 2025.   Rodney was born in Corvallis, Oregon to the late Robert and Doris Apple.  

 

Rodney loved his time in the Air Force. He also loved Trains, Nascar and Horsepower. He loved spending time with his family and spending time outdoors.  He was a strong man and he was very well respected in his community.  Rodney also had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh.

 

Rodney is preceded in death by his parents; Robert William Crank Jr. and Doris Eleanor

Crank and his brother Jeff Crank.  He is survived by his wife ; Sheila Crank, children; Nick Crank, Rodney Crank Jr, James “Bubba” Tingle (Brandy), Steve Tingle, April Tingle, Connie Tingle, multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

 

The family will hold a memorial service at their home on a later date.
