Mrs. Shirley Anne Pritchett Cook age 81, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on August 3, 2025.   

 

Shirley was born on Sunday, March 19, 1944, in Jackson, Georgia to the late William and Georgia Pritchett. Along with her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her brother, William Howell Pritchett and sister-in-law, Lillie Bee Pritchett.  Shirley was married to her dear husband Wesley for 52 years. She was a member of Towaliga Baptist Church. She worked for American Mills for several years as a seamstress The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Aveanna Hospice who took excellent care of Mrs. Shirley in her final days.

 

Shirley is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wesley Cook; children, Lisa Benton, Donnie Benton Jr., Tina Hatchett (Scottie); three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nephew, Brian Pritchett, great nieces Emily and Leigha Pritchett who were near and dear to her heart.
