Obituary of Bruce Edwin Wells

Mr. Bruce Edwin Wells, age 84, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025. Bruce was born on Sunday, February 16, 1941, in Buncombe, North Carolina to the late Norman Julius Wells and the late Amye Ellen Ramsey. Bruce enjoyed hunting and fishing; he also enjoyed visiting North Carolina mountains, repairing small engines, NASCAR and most of all, spending time with his granddaughters. Bruce is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Wells; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Jennifer Wells; grandchildren, Chloe Wells, Carlie Wells, Chandler Wells; sister, Louise Varner; brother, Jerry (Kathy) Wells; and several nieces, nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Bruce Wells will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to American Diabetes Association.
