Johnny Mike Beasley

Johnny “Mike” Beasley, 74, of High Falls, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born June 5, 1951, in Rome, GA, he was the son of the late Carl Beasley and Jewell Ammons Beasley.

Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished every moment with his family. He especially loved fishing, boat rides on the lake, and gathering everyone together for games and laughter. A man of faith, he was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of High Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Kay Beasley, Rusty Beasley, Elizabeth Hill; and half-sisters Barbara Chambers and Faye Hicks.

Mike’s memory will be lovingly carried on by his wife of 54 years, Grace Beasley; daughter Beth (Jason) Rooks; grandchildren Michael Richardson (partner Destiny) and Emily Rooks; son Troy (Jackie) Beasley; grandchildren Katelin (Zac) Bozeman, Eli Beasley (fiancée Jacie), and Lauren Beasley; great-grandson Baylor Bozeman; sister Carol (Jimmy) Bell; and many extended family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mike’s life during visitation on Monday, September 22, from 6–8 p.m. at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home in Jackson. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 23, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of High Falls with Rev. Paul Hill officiating.

Mike’s warmth, humor, and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
