Obituary of Theodore Frederick Bisch, Jr.

Mr. Theodore “Ted” Frederick Bisch Jr, age 91, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025.

Ted was born on Friday, October 12, 1934, in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late Theodore Frederick Bisch Sr., and the late Juanita Delfel. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Charles Bisch; and sister, Pat Barton.    

Ted is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty Bisch, children; Terry Garcia (Ruben), James Bisch (Alisa), John Bisch (Julie), grandchildren; Derek Garcia, Laura Edenfield, Theodore Garcia, Eric Garcia, Katie Conner, Zachary Bisch, Ethan Bisch, Hayden Bisch, Benjamin Bisch, Brandon Bisch, Amanda Raybon, Ashley Bisch, Caroline Cole (Mike), Spencer Bisch, 13 great-grandchildren, step-brother; David Delfel as well as several extended family members and friends.

Ted was well loved and respected in his community.  He loved his family and had a love for fishing, country music, and a good cigar. Ted was in the trucking business for almost his entire career.  He was a devout catholic his entire life and was a member at St. Mary’s Mother of God Catholic Church in Jackson.

A funeral service for Mr. Theodore Frederick Bisch will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at St. Mary’s Mother of God with Reverend Jose M. Kochuparampil officiating. Friends may visit the family from 8:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at the church.
