Mr. Benjamin Otis “Spud” Williamson, age 86, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

 

Spud was born on Tuesday, November 21, 19396, in Flovilla, Georgia to the late

Hampton P. Williamson and the late Jessie Smith Williamson Mackey. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Williamson; sisters, Pat Childs, Gloria Prater; and brother, Bill Williamson. Spud was a faithful member of Jackson Church of the Nazarene and worked for Snapper for many years.

 

Spud is survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Keith and Deanna Williams; several nieces and nephews, among them, Joshua Williams, Morgan Hamlin.

 

A funeral service for Mr. Benjamin “Spud” Williamson will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Jackson Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Steve Dudley officiating. Interment will follow at Towaliga Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the church prior to the funeral.
