Obituary of Emma Frances Foster

Ms. Emma Frances Foster, age 88, of Locust Grove, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 2, 2026.

Frances was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1937, in Locust Grove, Georgia to the late Milbon Roy Foster and the late Mary Rebecca McClendon Foster. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Annice Perkins, and brother, Jack Foster. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church.  Frances was the caretaker for her family and enjoyed gardening. She loved to hear good preaching, loved church, and going to gospel singing.

Frances is survived by her sister, Margie Foster; sister-in-law, Charlotte Foster; nieces and nephews, Theron and Tina Foster, Tim and Rhonda Foster, David and Lynn Perkins; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Ms. Emma Frances Foster will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, February 9, 2026, at County Line Baptist Church with Reverend Joshua McClendon and Reverend John Sims officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Baptist Cemetery. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
