Obituary of Robert William Young
Mr. Robert “Bob” William Young, age 67, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Dawn Clark; son, Justin Robert Young; grandchildren, Kelsey Young, Kristian Young, Bryton Young, Ellie Young, Miles Young; great-grandchild, Nova Hurst; fur son (dog), Buddy Young.
Bob grew up on Whitmore Lake in Michigan, water skiing with his brother, David, before moving to Broward County, Florida and meeting the love of his life, Mary Young, at just 16 years old. They were together for 51 years, married 49 of them. He was a refrigeration mechanic at Carrier and owned B & M Air Conditioning until he severely injured his back and had multiple surgeries. Through everything, Bob was always a hard worker, and honest man that would do anything to help family, friends, or a stranger.
Bob took his wife and kids on many vacations to the beach, mountains, and on a month-long trip out west. He drove his family to California, stopping and camping in the pop-up camper and visiting every state along the way. They made sure their kids grew up knowing and having a relationship with God. They also made sure their kids knew to serve and help others by delivering food boxes to the elderly and always treating others kindly without judgement.
Bob was diagnosed with tongue cancer at the end of 2024. He had major surgery in 2025 to remove the cancer. He went through chemo and radiation, then lost his wife (the love of his life) 6 months ago. Through it all he struggled, he was in pain, broken hearted, but he never gave up! He always kept his faith in the Lord and encouraged his adult kids to never give up. He fought so hard until the Lord called him home.
Bob was such a loving, giving & genuine man. He will be greatly missed by so many.
