Obituary of Jean Jones

Ms. Mary Jean Hall Jones, age 73, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Jean was born on Sunday, November 28, 1943 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Hugh Gene Norton and the late Mary Gladys Stitcher Norton. She was a well-known realtor for Dover Realty. Jean was a beloved member of Macedonia Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Hall; brothers, Buck Duffey, Earl Duffey, and Ray Duffey. Jean is survived by her sister, Elsie Duffey Clark; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Ms. Jean Jones will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Dr. Lane Sanders officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 155 Macedonia Church Road, Jackson, GA 30233 in memory of Jean.
