Obituary of Deryle Jean Lamb

Mrs. Deryle Jean Jolly Lamb, age 82, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. 

Deryle was born on Friday, February 14, 1941, in Smyrna, Georgia to the late Griffin Jolly and the late Eunice Herring Jolly. She was president of the Historical Society of Butts County for 25 years and a member of the Kiwanis Club. Deryle was a professional basket weaver and took second place in a competition. She enjoyed playing golf and fishing with her husband.

Deryle is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Lamb; children and spouse, Scott McEntyre, James and Karen Lamb; grandchildren and spouses, Ryan and Melissa Lamb, Hillary Lamb, Cory and Vera Lamb, Madison McEntyre.

Funeral services for Mrs. Deryle Lamb will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit with the family Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
