Obituary of Michael Willis Eason

Mr. Michael “Mike” Willis Eason, age 54, of Flovilla, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Mike was born on Wednesday, January 29, 1969, in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Jerry Willis Eason and Brenda Joyce Ricketts. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Grady Wilson Sr., and Roy Varnum, and uncle, Robert Wilson. Mike enjoyed playing the guitar, tattooing, and working on cars and computers.

Mike is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Cohen Eason “ACE” and Melissa; grandchildren, Madeline Eason, Oliver Eason, T. J. Brown; mother, Brenda Ricketts; sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Brian Sparrow; grandmother, Mae Varnum; aunts and uncles, Letha Kinard, Lynn and Tommy Bailey, Grady Wilson Jr. and Ronda; special friend, Susan Nelson; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mr. Mike Eason will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham and officiating. Interment will follow at Flovilla South Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
