Obituary of Wanda Laraine Lacey

Ms. Wanda Laraine Holloway Lacey, age 64, of Hampton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

 

Wanda was born on Wednesday, October 28, 1959, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Jasper Parker Holloway and the late Patricia Gail Dobson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Paula Dobson. She was of Baptist faith and enjoyed coaching softball. Some of Wanda’s favorite things to do were gardening, arts and crafts, thrifting, and yard sales. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

 

Wanda is survived by her daughters and spouses, Brooke and Ernie Bolden, Kristen and Justin Huggins; grandchildren, Kaidee Bolden, Mark Bolden, Charlotte Huggins, Avery Huggins, Jackson Huggins; sisters, Barbara Long, Lisa Holloway; brothers, Robert Holloway, Brad Dobson, Tony Dobson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Funeral services for Ms. Wanda Lacey will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Hardy officiating. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
