Mrs. Barbara Paulette Potts Stone, age 67, of Jackson, GA, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. Barbara was born on Monday, March 28, 1949 in Atlanta, GA to the late David Watson Potts and the late Mary Lucille Chastain Potts. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Barbara was a faithful servant of Gospel Light Baptist Church, secretary, and treasurer. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. Barbara loved yellow roses. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Anthony Stone, and a sister, Helen Potts Hester. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Pamila Redmond, Christy Murray, and Mickey Latham; grandchildren, Crystal Redmond, Brentt Malveaux, Jack Williams, Colby Williams, Nicholaus Murray, Krista Murray, Shelby Stephens, Payton Latham, and Morgan Latham; great-grandchildren, Calli Bussey, Ireland Bennet, Sadie Murray, and Charlotte Murray; brother, Alan Potts, sister, Betty Jenkins; nephews, David Jenkins, Robert Hester, and David Hester; nieces, Debra Hester, Deanna Jenkins, Heather Bramlet, Tina Potts, and Nina Potts Funeral services for Barbara Stone will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Brother Pete Page officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
