Obituary of Rose McGinnis

Rose Theresa McGinnis, of Jackson, GA, moved on to her heavenly home Tuesday, June 5, 2012. She was born February 17, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Anthony and Josephine Marotta. Rose lived in Dover, New Jersey for many years before moving to Marysville, MI and finally to Jackson. In Michigan, she attended Life of Faith/Cross Current Church where she served on the prayer team. She loved to read and study the Bible and was known by her friends and family as a prayer warrior. Rose was always ready to help and serve others. In Jackson, she quickly became a beloved member of Abundant Life Church. Rose is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and JoAnn McGinnis, of Gainesville, Albert and Theresa McGinnis, of Jackson, Michael and Carolyn McGinnis, of CO; a daughter, Laura, of TX; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert McGinnis, and several brothers and sisters. Memorial services for Rose McGinnis will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Abundant Life Assembly of God with Pastor Jeremiah Hosford officiating.
