I have a sweet, funny memory of Mr. Gilreath. He asked me way back in maybe 1977 if I knew how to swim...I said NO and he tossed me into the deep end of his pool. I know how to swim now! Thank you for that memory! I love you guys and have many fond memories of your family: Mikki and Tammy! I haven't seen you all in many many years, but still, think of you often! If you see this, please contact me at dawn.nichols42@gmail.com

Dear Family and Friends, when under trial Jesus was able to endure because of the joyful hope he maintained in Jehovah God's promises (Hebrews 12:2, Psalm 83:18). May you all find that same hope and comfort in this time of great sorrow by following Jesus’ example of "coming to know the only true God" (John 17:3) who assures the hope of a resurrection for ones like Harold (John 5:28-29), as well as true salvation for those of us who endure to the end (Mt 24:13). Please read the cited scriptures in your copy of the Bible to be truly comforted.

Carol & Family, How sorry we are to have learned of Harold's passing. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. We were discussing just the other day of the length of time that he and Wayne knew each other and it had been over 50 years! Cherish all the memories and we will keep each of you in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless.

I believe a person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, and through us, they live on. I will always remember your wonderful, dry and witty sense of humor. You always had such a calming effect on everyone around you. I know my Mom, your baby sister, is right there beside you. May your soul rest in peace, Uncle Harold. You will be so missed.
