Obituary of Emma Doris Fincher

Mrs. Emma Doris Bohannon Fincher, age 84, of Flovilla, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Westbury Medical Care Home.  Doris was born in, Jackson, GA on Thursday, November 9, 1933 to the late Sampson Bohannon and the late Mary Zell Lunsford Bohannon.  She enjoyed country and gospel music, gardening, and “Dug” Lillies.  Doris was of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Oren Fincher and Wilford “Billy” Fincher; son, Ronnie Fincher; and great-granddaughter, Gracie Hughes.    

 

Doris is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, Barry and Kay Fincher, Dianne Fincher; grandchildren, Natalie Fincher Kitchens, Kaley Batten and Levi, Bethany Fincher Hughes and Ray, B.J. Fincher, Hannah Fincher; and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Rooks, Jackie Rooks, and Ruth Daniel; several nieces and nephews.

 

Memorial services for Mrs. Doris Fincher will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Chapel of Westbury Medical Care Home with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating.
