Obituary of Patricia Freeman

Patricia Mullis Freeman, of Jackson, GA, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at Henry Medical Center. She was born February 9, 1941 in Eastman, GA to the late General Robert and Mary Lou Lord Mullis. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. She loved spending time with her family. Pat is survived by her husband, Lester Freeman, of Jackson; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Paul Vignola, of Hiram, GA, Wanda and Mark Dix, of Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, David and Sue Freeman, of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Nicole and Anthony (A.J.) Vignola, Krissy Hancock, Kevin, Travis and Emily Freeman; great-grandchildren, Keith and Lily Swanson and Kaleb Hancock; sister and brother-in-law, Melba and Benny Freeman; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Smith. Funeral services for Patricia Mullis Freeman will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 27, 2012 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 9:00 PM Sunday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Jackson Building Fund, 1227 West Third Street, Jackson, GA 30233.
