Mrs. Azlee Campbell, age 91, of Jackson, GA, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Henry Medical Center. She was born on October 22, 1919 in Atlanta, GA daughter of the late Fred Samuel and Mary Magdaline McDaniel Hicks. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, with her heart of gold. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, and loved going to camp with, and just being with, kids. Mrs. Azlee Campbell is survived by 3 daughters, Louise Ansley, of Forest Park, Meloney Campbell and Rhonda Moss, both of Jackson; 1 brother, Lonnie Hicks of Atlanta; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 cousin, Doris Sykes, of College Park; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy, Lynn, and Billy Campbell, and husband, John Carl Campbell. Funeral services for Mrs. Azlee Campbell will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Stark United Methodist Church with Rev. Frank Brock officiating. Interment will be at Haralson Baptist Church Cemetery in Haralson, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 5-9 PM.
