Obituary of John William Brackett

Mr. John William Brackett, age 59, of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Wellstar Sylvan Grove Hospital.  John was born on Thursday, August 21, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Mason Douthit Brackett and the late Bertha Alice Wood Brackett. He raised chickens and enjoyed woodworking, projects, and watching wrestling. John previously worked at Wal-Mart.

 

John  is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda Brackett; children, Kari and John Trawick, Joseph Ryan Brackett; grandchildren, Charlie Trawick, Jack Trawick, Anna Trawick; brother and sister-in-law, Mason and Karen Brackett; sisters and brother-in-law, Alice Middleton, Linda and Rick Helms; father and mother in-law, Jack and Martha Powell; several nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service for Mr. John Brackett will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Trinity Praise Center in Mansfield, Georgia with Pastor Rick Jackson officiating.  Friends may visit the family following the service.
