Obituary of Frances Wise

Mrs. Frances B. Wise, age 84, of Jackson, GA died Monday, April 18, 2011 at Henry Medical Center. She was born February 18, 1927 in Gainesville, GA to the late Robert Lee and Sarah Jane Waters Byrd. “Miss Frances” loved gardening, cross sitching, crocheting, sewing, cooking, the beach, being the bingo lady and all the people at Butts County Seniors Center. She was of the baptist faith and loved her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. “Miss Frances” is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Fred Ann Buntin, Brenda and Larry Allen, all of Jackson, and Jessica Kneeshaw, of Flovilla; grandchildren, Chris Buntin, Suzanne Bohler, Thomas Singley, Jimmy Wise, and Sarah Wise; great-grandchildren, Halei Buntin, Hollei Bohler, Joseph Bohler, Austin Ray, Josiah Wise, Jaiden Wise and Kaylee Wise; several nieces, nephews and cousins.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Wise; children, Wanda, Jimmy Lee, and Bobby Wise; grandson, Robert Buntin; son-in-law, Greg Kneeshaw. Funeral services for “Miss Frances” will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. John Sherrell, Mrs. Sally McIntyre and Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will be at Pepperton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday evening.
