When I lived at Indian Springs.I would go play golf at Hickory Hill that is where I met Mark.He was one of the nicest guys I have every met.I remember a group of us guys went to play golf but I can't remember the course off hand.I rode with Mark in the golf cart.It was extremely cold that day with the wind blowing very hard.Mark was on my team our team didn't win.We also played another round just playing our own ball.Mark won with a low score of 69.We couldn't believe it but I was his witness even in those kind of cold and windy conditions.A good friend of mine told me about Mark's passing and I am saddened when he told me the news.I will never forget Mark Maddox.Everybody remembers me has Cowboy.

Today with great sadness I heard about the passing of Mark. He was one of the best natured and most likable people that I have ever known and was always ready to lend a helping hand. In our youth we were close friends and I will forever remember the good times that we shared. As we grew older, we remained close several times working together and participating in each others weddings. There are few people in the world who have ever been as trustworthy as Mark and he always had your back when you most needed him. In recent years, we had seen each other less and taken our separate paths, but he was never too far from my thoughts, and many times, I have recalled to others stories of our adventures together. The world grew a little darker with his passing and he will be missed and remembered for the rest of my time here. Rest In Peace my friend.

I am in shock at the news of Mark's death. My husband, Jack spoke with him yesterday evening about 6. He said he had surgery and we thought he said he was home. We really couldn't understand him other than he said it had been a serious surgery but he was feeling good. I'm just in disbelief. We love Mark. He will be missed terribly in our household as both my boys and the girls knew him. Love and prayers to you at this time. Love Nancy & Jack

Although working with Mark for a short time at Bellamy, I wanted to express how much he was appreciated and will be missed. His Southern charm and professional demeanor made an impact causing waves that will ever continue.
