Obituary of Howard Ronald Kuter

Mr. Howard R. Kuter, age 84, of  Jackson, GA passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born Monday, December 11, 1933, in St. Augustine, FL, son of the late Harley Howard Kuter and the late Ada Young Kuter. Howard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps (Korea) from 1953-1955.  He worked in the carpet industry for 25 years. Howard was a deacon at Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wendyll Kuter.

Howard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Charlotte Bacon Kuter; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Kuter Harris and Al, Donna Kuter Owens and Michael; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roger Kuter, Douglas Kuter, Malcolm Kuter, Reverend Rick Kuter; many nieces and nephews; beloved buddy, Boss.

A funeral service for Mr. Howard Kuter will be held  at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 14, 2018,  at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Lane Sanders officiating. Friends may vist the family at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Building Fund, 151 Macedonia Church Road, Jackson, GA 30233  or Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Drive, McDonough, GA 30253 in Howard’s memory.  The family would like to thank the Veteran’s Hospital and Sacred Journey Hospice for their kind and professional care.
