Obituary of Ed Power
Mr. Charles Edward Power, age 77, of Jackson, GA, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at Westbury Medical Care Home in Jackson, Georgia. Ed was born on Thursday, August 14, 1941 in Marietta, Georgia to the late Pierce Power and the Ola Mae Stephens Power. Ed worked hard all his life and enjoyed fishing. He loved spending time with his family. Ed accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior on March 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by wife, Patsy Power; sisters, Grace Crum and Ruth Kirkland.
Ed is survived by children, Charles Lesley Power (Barbara), Theresa Ann Patrick, Tina Kaye Loftin (Jeff), Edward “Bobo” Power (Makisha), Lisa Darlene Mitchell, Melinda Diane Pritchett (Kurt); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Faulkner, Elsie Grant, Nancy Snowden; brothers, James Power, Alford Power; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Ed Power will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Ron Westbury officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfuneralhome.com.
