To Bob and Kay: I am sorry that I was out of town when I read the news about Kathleen. My condolences. My parents were always great friends with the pinkneys and my Dad, Emory, always described Bob as the smartest Optometrist that he ever knew. The times you two shared together in your profession were quite meaninbgful to him. we appreciate, to this day, your being at his funeral in 2004. May the times get better for you and the family. God Bless you and Happy Thanksgiving. regards, Ed Milton.

My deepest sympathies to all of the Pinckney family on your loss. Mrs. Pinckney helped a lot of people during her lifetime, and what a wonderful legacy she leaves behind. Hers was a life of service to others. I have many fond memories of her during my high school years when she worked for the Butts County school system. She was always very kind and supportive. I just wanted to let you all know that you're in my thoughts. Alan Jones

Bob and Kathleen could write a book on how to raise happy children. We admired their parenting skills so much that we tried to be like them in raising our own four children. What I admired most about Kathleen was her "calmness." No matter what happened, Kathleen remained calm and spoke in a soft voice. I remember when teenage Bobby said, "Mom, I wrecked the car." Kathleen replied, "Bobby, take an aspirin and go to bed." Our own children strived to be like Kathleen's and Bob's children. Even though Bob and Kathleen were very involved in our community, they were always there for their children first. Heaven has gained an angel to teach and lead the children and adults. I never saw Kathleen when she was not smiling. Rest in peace thou good and faithful servant after a life well lived in service to God. Your life is truly something to celebrate. Our love and prayers, Millard and Mary Frances
