Mr. Randy Louis Taylor, age 65, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020, at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, November 16, 1954, in Greensboro, Georgia. Randy loved his family dearly. He was an avid UGA fan and enjoyed fishing. He is preceded in death by his father, James Louis Taylor; and a sister, Lisa Kersey Belvin.
Randy is survived by his sons, Tom Taylor, Jay Taylor; grandchildren, Chase Taylor, Chance Taylor, Austin Taylor, Whitney Taylor, Braylon Taylor; great-grandson, Malakai Taylor; mother, Helen Jones Taylor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Winnie and James Brown, and Carolyn and Mike Vinson; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mr. Randy Taylor will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 8, 2020, in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. S. Ed Hoard officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Chapel at Indian Springs C/O (payable to) Butts County Historical Society, Post Office Box 215, Jackson Georgia 30233 in memory of Randy Taylor.
