Mrs. Susan Ann Marks Jordan, age 67, of Griffin, GA, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, at Sacred Journey Hospice. She was born on Saturday, October 25, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late David Lamar Marks and the late Betty McElroy Marks. Susan was a member of Highland United Methodist Church in Griffin. She was a fan of the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and UGA and enjoyed other college football teams. Susan loved God and her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Stephen Jordan, Jr; and step-mother, Margueritte Marks.
Susan is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Eric Burdette, David and Virginia Jordan, and Bart Jordan, J.T. Townsend; daughter, Emily Beleon; grandchildren, Conner Burdette, Austin Jordan, Aime McLaughlin, Kayla Fagan, Dixie Jordan, Josh Capehart, Chris Capehart, and Lonnie and Lindsay Capehart; great-grandchildren, Isabella Rose Fagan, Kimberlyn Capehart, Kolton Capehart, Joshua Capehart, and Jordan Capehart; niece, Autumn Jordan; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Robin Jordan.
A memorial service for Mrs. Susan Jordan will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfuneralhome.com
