PO1, Earl Wayne Blair, Sr., age 80, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020. He was born on Sunday, August 20, 1939, in Villa Rica, Georgia to the late Eunice Elias Blair and Alice Mae Blair. Earl entered the Navy in June of 1959, and has had many tours of Sea Duty in his long Navy Career. He reported abroad NAS Atlanta in March of 1975, and have performed the duties of Leading Security Petty Officer and Chief of Police. He sailed upon the USS Midway CVA 41, USS Saratoga CVA 60, and was a customs inspector. He retired from the Navy after serving 20 years. Earl was a member of Fullerville Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Blair. Earl is survived by special friends, Lisa Bunch, Laurie and William Chaffin, Tiffany Bunch and Michael Kelley. A private graveside service for Mr. Earl Blair, Sr. will be held at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
