Obituary
Obituary of Wesley Miller
Please share a memory of Wesley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mr. Wesley Brian Miller, age 49, of Monticello, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 5, 2020.
Wes was born on Wednesday, August 16, 1971, in Decatur, Georgia. He had the biggest heart and loved his family, friends, and fur babies dearly. Wes enjoyed many activities such as hiking, mountain biking, frisbee golf, exercise, tinkering with cars, listening to music, and collecting beautiful rocks. Although we are comforted to know he now enjoys eternal peace, we will miss him immensely.
Wes is survived by his parents, Cathy and Bobby Jones, of Covington, Robert and Cathy Miller, of Cataula; grandmother, Cubie House Maduros; grandparents, Elaine and Jack Franklin; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Micah McGuire; brother, Daniel Miller; step-sister and brother-in-law, Jessie and Adam Tutherow; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life for Wes Miller will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church, 151 Macedonia Baptist Church Road, Jackson, Georgia 30233, on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 11:30 A.M. with Pastor Carl Reimold officiating. Lunch will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall. The family is requesting that those attending wear face masks. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Butts Mutts Animal Rescue at www.buttsmutts.org or to your own favorite animal rescue, as this would be Wes’s wish.
Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfuneralhome.com.
